What Is It With The Canucks And Biting People?

Yup…we got another biter in Vancouver. Antoine Roussel was channeling his inner Alex Burrows last night when he got in a scrap with Marc-Edouard Vlasic of the San Jose Sharks and he decided to bite him.

When Alex Burrows bit Patrice Bergeron in the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals I honestly thought that was the last time we were going to see a grown man bite another grown man in the National Hockey League but boy was I wrong.

Whats up with the Canucks too? Should they start keeping those things they give babies to chew on when they are teething on the bench? I’m not going to lie I’d be pretty pissed if I was a Canucks fan. People are finally starting to forget about Alex Burrows being a clown in 2011 and then boom, this happens. Endless biting chirps for Canucks fans.

Roussel was fined 5k by the league which is the maximum allowed under the CBA. That call had to be an awkward one, I’d pay to be a fly on the wall for that one.
