Amazing. Did Lil Wayne sound like shit? Boy did he but it doesn’t matter. It’s not about that. It’s about the moment. It’s about the best rapper alive getting brought out by his mega-star protégé in their favorite city in the world. Drake bringing out Lil Wayne in Miami was fucking AWESOME. The fact that Weezy did Steady Mobbin makes it that much better. Just a fantastic song despite Lil Wayne sounding just awful.  I got chills on top of my goosebumps when they hugged in the middle of the stage and Drake gave him all the props. You’re reading the blog of a guy who was obsessed with the Dr. Dre –> Eminem –> 50 Cent dynamic so there’s nothing I love more than Drake bringing out the guy who put him on all those years ago. You love to see it. You won’t find more star power in music than those two being on the same stage together. I’m stunned everyone in the crowd didn’t simply pass out when Lil Wayne ran out there.
