Following A 20 Point Loss To Auburn, Washington's Bus Caught Fire Last Night

Apparently a 20 point loss just wasn’t enough of an insult for Washington. Instead the team bus had to blow a tire and catch fire just outside of Montgomery, Alabama. At least Noah Dickerson – one of the stars for Washington – had some fun with it and made a joke out of it. More importantly there were no injuries and everyone was okay. But, can you imagine being head coach Mike Hopkins here? He’s probably pissed off that they lost by 20. He’s likely sitting there breaking down film and how to adjust the 2-3 zone. Then boom. Your bus is on fire and you’re on the side of the road until 1:30 in the morning with a bunch of college kids getting videos up on Twitter. Maybe it’s just me being old now but that sounds miserable. Being awake at 1:30 seems miserable. That’s just an awful night all around.
