Who Steals 400 Boxes Of Girl Scout Cookies?
[WCPO] – Noel Hines, 31, is accused is stealing more than $1,600 worth of Girl Scout Cookies. That’s 400 boxes of Thin Mints, Tagalongs or Trefoils based on the 2018 price of $4 per box.
According to information from North College Hill police on Facebook, Hines took a large order of cookies to sell for a local troop on March 30. When it came time to turn in funds from cookie sales, the Girls Scouts of Western Ohio never received funds from Hines, according to court documents.
Sure, we’ve all joked about it. Hell, we’ve all quoted Billy Madison before. But, who steals 400 boxes of Girl Scout cookies? On top of that how do you even have enough space in your kitchen or house for that many boxes of cookies? I can’t even fathom storing that many boxes, though plenty would get killed right away since they are impossible not to eat when you see them.
What I really need to know is what was the total heist here. How many boxes of what kind of cookies were taken? Me personally? I’m stealing all the boxes of Do-si-dos and Tagalongs. Easily my two favorites. I know that might be a hot take as people love Samoas and Thin Mints, but I’m going after those.
How about this little jab by the cops? “That’s the way the cookie crumbles,” police posted on Facebook. Always got the jokes. But, really don’t steal cookies. Just do what we all do. Buy the cookies, eat them way too fast and then get mad you’re out of them and start looking for them outside of the store again.
