The NCAA Finally Offered Swift And Just Punishment For Playing In A Summer Charity Game

Finally the NCAA is stepping up to another big, bad bully. Charity summer games. Don’t you dare think about playing in a charity summer game and think you won’t get suspended. It’s good to see the NCAA step up when we need them the most. Stepping in just moments before the tip of the season in order to tell a kid that he can’t play.

Now you might be wondering. Hey, Reags, why would a kid get suspended for playing in a charity game? Well, that’s a good question make believe person I’m pretending to ask me this. Back in the 60s and 70s these were used as a way to pay some guys under the table. You see, ‘cheating’ has happened for years. So the NCAA instituted the rule that you can’t play in a charity summer game, because of that. Similar, the NCAA has refused to change rules since those 1970 ones.

So consider this a reminder. If you’re an athlete and going to play in a summer charity game, don’t even think about it. Charities are bad according to the NCAA. You will get suspended. Gotta love the NCAA continuing to be fair with all rulings.
