Aaron Rodgers Will Be The Biggest Vegas Underdog Of His Career In LA This Weekend Against the Rams

This doesn’t come as the biggest surprise to me since the Rams are a goddamn juggernaut and the Packers just barely snuck by the 49ers on Monday Night Football, but still it’s crazy to see Aaron Rodgers as the biggest dog of his career regardless of the circumstances. The Packers are coming off a bye and presumably/hopefully got healthy with the time off, meaning Cobb and Allison along with a few defensive starters will be good to go. You could also make an argument the Rams are coming off a bye after dismantling the Niners yesterday.

Let’s revisit Rodgers’ four biggest underdog spots in his career. He’s 3-1, taking two of those games to overtime in the playoffs.

2014: NFC Championship Game Packers at Seahawks (+8) (Seahawks won 28-22 OT)
-*Bostick fumbled the onside kick and lost the game preventing a trip to the Super Bowl
2015: NFC Divisional Round Packers at Arizona (+7) (Arizona 26-20 OT)
-Rodgers hail mary twice on final drive to force OT
2010: Packers at Jets (+6) (Packers 9-0)
2016: NFC Championship Game Packers at Falcons (+5.5) (Falcons won 44-21)

Looking back, it’s insane he was a six point dog to MARK SANCHEZ at one point in his career. Just think about that for a second. MARK SANCHEZ. I was at that game. Crosby hit three field goals and that was it. The highlight of the game was the Jets punter faking a punt on 4th down and running for what he thought was the first down, only to realize it was the original line of scrimmage he had achieved, thus turning the ball over on downs in classic Jets fashion.

Back to the point of this blog, Aaron Rodgers coming off a bye week, looking to knock the Rams back to life. He tends to take these games a little more seriously than others. I’m not saying they’re going to win because their defense is going to get torched by Goff and Gurley, but Rodgers keeps this game close. He takes offense to shit like this and it fuels him. That is unless Suh and Donald end his life which is also a possibility. Yeah no, Rodgers and the points Rodgers and the points. Just keep saying it and it’ll come true.
