NBA Rookie Luka Doncic Is Whipping Out Insane Passes Early In His 1st Ever Game
Doesn’t even matter that this is the lowly Phoenix Suns (sorry KenJac) he’s going against. Running coast to coast offense this effortlessly is hard for NBA veterans to pull off, let alone NBA rookies. And it’s pretty clear we’re likely about to get an entire season (and career?) of this from Luka…
It shouldn’t be a total surprise I guess. He was the youngest MVP in the Euroleague’s history and he did plenty to impress in the preseason too. Really should be a very exciting season to watch develop with nothing but open minutes ahead of him in Dallas.
Dennis Smith is still inconsistent. Dirk is slowly/quickly dying. Harrison Barnes is a melting scoop of ice cream in a manilla envelope dropped behind a bookcase. Doncic is gonna have the greenlight 1000% of the time no bones about it.
So bring on ALL the stepback 3’s, behind the back passes, and whatever the hell this was.
Doncic isn’t without his flaws though…
