Andrew McCutchen Had An Awkward Encounter With a Naked Man In The Public Gym Steam Room Today
Andrew McCutchen is truly a national treasure. I know it kills Red Sox fans watching these kind of videos he puts out because he’s so likable. It is impossible to hate on Andrew McCutchen. He’s so smooth on the field and has such an incredible personality off of it. He’s basically Todd Frazier except he can produce on the field. That’s not to take away from what Todd did during October last year with his clutch hits, but McCutchen’s on base percentage since joining the Yankees is well over .400 to go along with his stellar defense. But the Yankees have not had a player with his kind of off the field friendly, joyful personality in a long time. Probably since Swisher I think?
Now to his dilemma today. I think we’re all with him. First of all, elevators with strangers is unbearable. It’s so uncomfortably awkward I just count the seconds until I’ve reached my floor. Check my phone even though you have no service, fidget with my fingers, just make it stop. I actually used to work with a woman who was a germaphobe and held her breath in the elevator to avoid breathing in the dirty air. Yeah, that’s a whole new level of psychotic, but the point is sharing elevators stinks. Now sharing a steam room with strangers is the top level of awkwardness. Especially when the only open spot is next to a gym hardo who has no problem free-balling his business in everyone’s face. Cutch breaks it all down perfectly. It’s just a situation you never want to find yourself in.
If you missed Cutch break down his fall in the outfield then watch this now. It’s so good. I get so excited when he posts these.
Resign McCutchen the moment this season ends. He needs to be back.
