Government Wokers Who Are Shut Down Are Collecting That Sweet, Sweet Unemployment

Wash Times - The unemployment claims offices of Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia have posted notices giving instructions to Federal employees affected by the government shutdown on how to apply for unemployment benefits.
According to the Office of Personnel Management “302,000 Federal employees work in the immediate Washington, DC, area (defined as the District of Columbia; Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties in Maryland; Arlington and Fairfax Counties, and the independent cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church in Virginia).”

Hah, pretty cool, huh government? If I understand this correctly, the government workers who aren’t allowed to work and aren’t getting paid while congress still gets paid, are now going to collect unemployment money that comes from the government? What a wild, weird situation. Surely you don’t make as much, but at the same time, you dont have to do a god damned thing. These people can lay around and eat cheetos and collect a decent % of their old salary. And think about all the shit they can get done. Probably catch up on tyler perry movies, from the looks of it.
