Charles Bronson Is "BACK" In The Brand New 'Death Kiss'

“A vigilante with a mysterious past tries to rid a city of crime as he protects a young mother and her child.”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a fiercer doppelganger than Robert Kovacs is to Charles Bronson.

I audibly gasped when I watched the trailer because it was actually like seeing a ghost. Bronson, of course, passed away in 2003, leaving behind a legendary body of work for those who love the action genre. His biggest project, the ‘Death Wish’ franchise, was also a real trailblazing effort in the vigilante/revenge genre for cinema.

This lookalike, Robert Kovacs, may as well be his clone. I’m firing up the conspiracy machine now, and am officially team “Bronson’s DNA was frozen in a tank and he had a clone fast-grown a la Star Wars”. I can’t prove that Kovacs wasn’t born in a tank, because there is no information about his birth. Even his bio seems made up by someone trying to appeal to Charles Bronson fans.

So he basically had every cool job under the sun including horse trainer, musician, judo player, acrobat, stuntman and he speaks multiple languages. It literally sounds like Vladimir Putin’s tinder bio. He was also was in the Hungarian Military during the Cold War which could mean he is either a war hero or a war criminal depending on who you ask. Between questionable Hungarian school credits and a strange work resume, he might just be a sleeper agent for Hollywood installed by Sebastian Gorka.

Looking more and more into this movie, the more strange it got. Including the fact that the contact email is an AOL address.

They also don’t address if they are now retconning this year’s ‘Death Wish’ starring Bruce Willis, or if this takes place in an alternate universe/timeline. I have a million conspiracy theories brewing, and I’m curious what you guys think. The more important note I’m taking from this is that the door is now open to remakes of ‘The Great Escape’ and ‘The Dirty Dozen’, two of my favorite WW2 movies. Hell yea, baby. I might just put together a mock casting for both of those later, thats how excited the idea makes me. Is there anyone out there that is a clone of Steve McQueen, by chance?
