Nike Is Going To Lose All My Business If Ray Allen Is Serious About This Move

I’m dead serious. Nike can say good bye if this happens. You would lose a valued customer if He Got Game gets a remake. It would be enough to cross the line for me to only wear Adidas because Allen was a Jordan Brand guy as a rookie and I just don’t know if I can support that brand if Jesus Shuttlesworth ends up on the big screen again.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I love He Got Game. It’s one of my favorite movies ever and likely in the top-10 for me. I’ve watched it over and over again and it just simply doesn’t get old. In fact I have the movie poster hanging up in my basement. But, enough is enough. I don’t need to see a retired Ray Allen and old Denzel Washington teaming up for He Got Game 2.

What would it even be about? Ray Allen’s son? Ray Allen as a coach and Denzel back in jail? The ending to He Got Game is one of my favorite endings as it leaves it a bit open ended yet closes on Shuttlesworth’s decision to go to Big State.

I’d like to say I’m a man of my word, but who am I kidding? I’d still go watch He Got Game 2 and buy all the Nike stuff. But, please don’t make this movie. We don’t need it.
