The Johnny Football Shows Returns Tonight in Montreal

Johnny Manziel makes his return to the football field tonight as the Montreal Alouettes starting quarterback. Johnny is being thrown right into the fire with about a week of practices under his belt. For any other QB I’d say this was a disaster, doomsday scenario, but Johnny thrives in chaos. That’s pretty much what made him who he was at Texas A&M.

Now Johnny isn’t going to be throwing to Mike Evans or Ryan Swope tonight. There’s no one on the Montreal wide receiving core you will recognize except for B.J. Cunningham who was in the NFL for three years and barely played. Johnny is going to have to twirl some goddamn magic tonight if Montreal is going to compete in this game. Nevertheless it’s going to be fun as hell. The CFL was sort of made for Johnny and how chaotic it is. I mean you’ve got receivers running all the place pre-snap, it’s all spread-offense, it’s 90% passing. That’s what Johnny loves. He’s facing his former team tonight and they really aren’t that good either. The line is currently Montreal +7 and I’m assuming everyone and their mother is going to to be on Johnny for the fun of it. Betting the CFL is a pretty fun way to pregame before you go out on a Friday night. Get on board tonight during Yanks/Sox. It’s going to be a Friday night bonanza.
