This Man Who Got Arrested At Planet Fitness For Doing Naked Yoga Says He Thought It Was A "Judgement Free Zone". Kind Of Has A Point

CBSA Massachusetts man apparently learned the hard way that the “Judgment Free Zone” philosophy at Planet Fitness only goes so far.

Police say 34-year-old Eric Stagno was walking around naked at the Plaistow gym before settling in on the yoga mats. Officers arrived at the Planet Fitness to find him nude on his knees in a yoga-type position…

…“The only statement that he made was that he thought it was a ‘judgment free zone’ – apparently referencing the chain’s slogan,” police Capt. Brett Morgan told WBZ-TV.

First of all, our guy here missed a pretty prime opportunity to say he was trying to see if he could set off the lunk alarm by dropping his third leg on the ground. But second of all–and I’m not even saying this just for the sake of the take–I think this man’s statement has to hold up in a court of law. Because here’s the thing about Planet Fitness. I belonged to one for years. And while you’re at a Planet Fitness, you see some of the most vile creatures your eyes will ever come across in your life. Droves and droves of hideous beasts who I’m pretty sure only go to Planet Fitness for the occasional free pizza. But you’re not allowed to say anything about it because it’s a “judgement free zone”. And I’m not really complaining about it. Planet Fitness costs like $10 a month. You get exactly what you pay for. So if dealing with a bunch of fatties stuffing their face with pizza at the gym is what I have to deal with for only paying $10 a month, I think that’s a pretty fair trade off.

And like I just said. You get what you pay for. So if that means that one day you walk in to your Planet Fitness to get a quick set in on the Smith machine and some homeless dude walks in, hangs dong, and starts doing yoga next to the dumbbells? Well guess what. That’s exactly what you paid for. If you don’t want to have to stare at a dude’s dick and balls during your workout, maybe go to another gym. But if you’re going to continue to go to Planet Fitness, the “Judgement Free Zone”, that’s just the price you have to pay every now and then. Plus, let’s not get ahead of ourselves and act like some dude spreading cheeks in warrior pose is that far from any ordinary day in P Fit. Just saying. Let the man live. You ever feel the giant ceiling fans they have at Planet Fitness? Who wouldn’t want to do naked yoga with a breeze like that going to air you out. That’s an innocent man, your honor. As long as he wiped off the yoga mat afterwards, of course.
