NEWS: Hope Hicks Will Not (Yet) Be White House Chief Of Staff, Per "Friends"
Business Insider — Hope Hicks told friends she wouldn’t return to the White House this year, even if President Donald Trump asked her to, The Daily Beast reported.
Several of Hicks’ friends told The Daily Beast that she has ruled out becoming Trump’s next potential chief of staff for at least the rest of 2018, despite rumors her name is being floated for the position.
…
Hicks resigned from her post as White House communications director in February, but is said to be a potential replacement for Trump’s chief of staff John Kelly.
Trump responded to return rumors and reiterated their good relationship, telling reporters,
“I love Hope.”
So Hope Hicks’ “friends” say she won’t return to the White House this year. Not even if asked by Donnie himself. Look there’s only one way this story ends — Hope Hicks will be the White House Chief of Staff. I don’t know when. I don’t know if she’ll succeed General Kelly or be further down the line. But if you think there’s any chance that this Trump presidency and its relationship to Hope Hicks doesn’t end with that 29-year-old rocket ship as the chief of staff, you’re a moron. You have no brain. You have no conceptual understanding of the times. Of course it ends with Trump naming smokeshow Hope Hicks as his chief of staff. Of course Trump wants nothing more than to watch his senior staff, the National Security Council, the generals, the top dogs from every branch of importance and power in American governance, have to report to this:
Trump wants everyone in Washington who thinks they are important to have to coordinate all possible White House business through Hope Hicks. I know he does. I can see him admiring the thought of it right now.
