Reporter Handles Another Stupid Sackashit At World Cup
I’m back with another episode of Reporter Deals With Stupid Sackashit™ At The World Cup.
Here, a World Cup attendee tries to kiss reporter Julia Guimarães before the match between Japan & Senegal in Yekaterinburg, but Guimarães goes full Matrix on him & dodges it.
According to a translation from the BBC, she then goes on to tell him,
“Don’t do this! Never do this again. Don’t do this, I don’t allow you to do this, never, OK? This is not polite, this is not right. Never do this to a woman, OK? Respect.”
The TV Globo and SportTV journalist tweeted that she had never experienced this in Brazil, but that it had happened twice to her in Russia during the tournament.
She told Globo Esporte the incident was “awful” and made her feel “helpless, vulnerable”.
“This time, I responded but it’s sad people don’t understand why people feel they have the right to do that.”
Going off my previous blog about reporters dealing with Sackashits, some will undoubtedly be butthurt that I’m still posting stories like this, & have a tough time wrapping their heads around why it’s important to share. Others will say it’s an overreaction & I have a giant bush. To them I say my hot, mature, take.. which is, “You are also a stupid sackashit, and I love my giant bush.” Luckily most know it’s just a bad thing to do, regardless of the gender of the reporter, and can leave it at that.
