Brad Pitt Once Told Harvey Weinstein He'd Kill Him If He Ever Bothered Gwyneth Paltrow Again

People- The actress, 45, made an appearance on Howard Stern‘s Sirius XM radio show on Wednesday, where she once again accused Weinstein of sexually harassing her during the early days of her career.

“We had one incident in a hotel room where he tried to make a pass at me,” she said.

Paltrow said Weinstein asked her to give him a massage while they were meeting to discuss a movie they were working on together. She was hired by Weinstein to play the lead role in Emma when she was 22.

The Oscar winner said that she told her then-boyfriend Brad Pitt about the incident and the actor reportedly confronted Weinstein, telling him to never touch Paltrow again.

“I told him right away and I was very shaken by the whole thing,” she told Stern. “We were at the opening of Hamlet on Broadway. Harvey was there and Brad Pitt — it was like the equivalent of throwing him against the wall, energetically.”

“He said, ‘If you ever make her feel uncomfortable again, I’ll kill you,’ “she recalled Pitt saying to Weinstein. “Or something like that.”

“It was so fantastic,” she said. “He leveraged his fame and power to protect me at a time when I didn’t have fame or power yet.”

Just when you think Brad Pitt’s reputation is in trouble because Angelina dumped him and said he was a dick to their 48 children from 52 countries, he goes and protects Gwyneth Paltrow from Harvey Weinstein 13 years ago… and TOTALLY redeems himself! Way to go, Brad! He’s back!!! We are getting our friend Brad back!!!

Man do I love Brad Pitt. Always have. Sexy as a goddamn snack. He was the hottest dude alive for a decade but refused to do the obvious, sexy-boy roles, preferring to stay in the shadows in gritty movies like Fight Club and Snatch. Of course, he had his sexy boy bar mitzvah in Troy, but he always returned to roles that showed his range beyond a pretty face (like Benjamin Button). I won’t even get into the Jennifer Anniston vs. Angelina Jolie debate because we all make mistakes. But in the face of all the horrible Harvey Weinstein revelations, it turns out there was ONE MAN who was willing to stand up to the movie tycoon: Brad.

The point is, can you PLEASE just let us have ONE MOMENT of goodness in the pile of Harvey Weinstein’s shit? Brad Pitt told him he’d kill him. Didn’t even need to call in the Bear Jew and his baseball bat.

Anyway, here’s to Brad Pitt, who stood up to Harvey Weinstein at a time when nobody else would have dared. What an actor. What a guy. What a jawline.
