I Haven't Stopped Watching DSP's Goal From Last Night, It Was Just So Beautiful
Good morning Caps fans! We are one win away from going to the Stanley Cup. I am not sure how to even put into words all the feelings that I’m feeling right now. Excited, nervous, pumped up, and scared. Wednesday will be the biggest game 7 in Caps history.
But in the mean time, all I’m going to do is watch DSP’s goal over and over and over again. Chandler Stephenson’s hustle to beat out the icing,
then to keep the puck moving along the boards to Beagle, and then to have the wherewithal to do a perfect no look pass to a streaking DSP who buried it, all while the Lightning lallygagged back up the ice.
Just look at Tampa gliding into the zone
That was the loudest arena I’ve ever been in.
I don’t know what happens now. I’m in uncharted territory. I guess we just blog through it and hope to win a game 7 tomorrow. Lightning coach Jon Cooper agrees- If the Caps play tomorrow like they played last night, woo boy.
